MARGARET TULLEY
RESERVE THE DATE!! Margaret Tulley will be here at the store Friday, July 30th. Margaret will be showing us tips and techniques using the serger! Did you know you can use a serger to put in a zipper, or make lace?? Even though Margaret uses a Baby Lock serger, her tips and techniques can be used on any brand serger. She will show you lots of new and exciting applications using the serger. This seminar is being held Friday afternoon at 1:00PM, and should last about 3 hours. Are you working on Friday afternoon, then come to the Friday evening seminar at 6:00. Cost of this seminar is just $10.00!!

EMBROID A BLOCK
Embroid a block dates are July23rd, and August 28th, starting at 9:30.
ASG
American Sewing Guild meeting will be July 22nd, and August 26th. For the July meeting, we are going to Nashville, IN to tour the stock factory. We will leave the store about 10:00AM, and eat lunch in Nashville, then we will tour the sock factory at 1:00PM. The August meeting will be charity sewing. The August meeting will be held at the store starting at 6:00PM. Meeting are usually over by 8:00 PM or before. Come join us and give ASG a try. You are allowed to come to 2 meetings before you are required to join. Cost of membership for 1 year is $50.00 payable to ASG.
STRIP JACKET
The second part of the strip jacket class will be held July 10th. For those of you involved, don’t forget to have your homework finished! We will start at 9:30.
SNAP HAPPIER TOTE
July 17th starting at 9:30, Shirley will be teaching the Snap Happier Tote class. This is a cool tote bag that uses the metal carpenter tape measure as a closure. We have a sample in the store if you would like to check it out! The cost of this class is $20.00. No refunds will be given after July 10th.
SOFTWARE
Have you purchased digitizing software, and don’t know how to use it? Have you read the manual, and still can’t figure it out? Digitizing software is confusing and complicated, but can be very rewarding once you get the hang of it. This class will teach you how to find out what tools you have and how to use them. This is a 3 week class. The first week we will explore how to use software to modify purchased designs. The shapes available to you and how to use them to make unique designs. You will have some homework to be completed before the next session. The second week, we will make a design using the tracing tool to trace around a vector art image. The third week, we will explore designs from photographs, how to bring a photo into your software, and determine in what order the design should be digitized. When you register, we must know what software you have. Install it on your laptop and bring it with you. This is a hands on class. This class will be held August 12th, 19th, and 26th. We will start at 10:00 AM. Cost of these 3 classes is $35.00. Mary Young is the digitizer who will be teaching this class. No refunds will be given after August 5th.

ELLISIMO CLUB
Ellisimo Club will meet at the store on July 12th and August 9th starting at 10:00 AM.
SEWING WITH FRIENDS
Bring your UFO’s, and come sew and socialize with us on Monday, July 19th and Monday, August 23rd, starting at 10:00 AM. Stay as long as want! There is no cost for sewing with friends.
QUILTING WITH FRIENDS
Bring your quilting project and spend the day with us. We will start at 10:00, and you can stay as long as you want! It’s fun to see what everyone is working on, and get new and creative ideas. The July date is Tuesday, the 13th, and the August date is Tuesday the 10th. There is no cost for quilting with friends.
8 PATCH STACK AND WHACK
Donna Robinson will be in the store to teach the 8 patch stack and whack on August 7th, at 9:30 This is a fun class, and you will create some unique blocks. None of your blocks will look the same. This class is limited to 6 people, so if you are interested, you need to call and sign up soon. This class fills quickly. Cost of this class is $25.00. No refunds will be given after July 31st.

WALLET CLASS
We have done this class before, but we have been asked by you to run it again. So, it will be Saturday, August 21st, starting at 9:30. This is the wallet that looks a lot like the extremely expensive wallets that you buy in boutiques. Cost of this class is $20.00, plus $10.00 for the pattern. No refunds will be given after August 14th.
IN THE HOOP EMBROIDERY
Shirley will be doing in the hoop embroidery class projects on August 14th at 9:30AM. The projects will be zippered cases with rick rack. The cost of this class will be $20.00, plus the cost of the designs which should cost around $15.00. No refunds will be given after August 7th.
KWIK SEW PATTERNS
We are now carrying some Kwik Sew Patterns. If we don’t have the pattern you want, we can order it and have it for you in a few days. We have a pattern catalogue you can look through to choose your patterns.
